    Keyser Soze

Keyser Soze, or Söze, is a fictional character from the 1995 film “The Usual Suspects” who has become a synonym for any crime lord of legendary ruthlessness, cunning and influence.

In the story he is confronted by gangsters who have his wife and children in their power. Rather than buckle and give up he simply shoots his family himself, which clearly impresses the baddies and they buckle instead.

    Example usage:

“You think you’re Keyser Söze or something, coming in here and telling me how to run my gaffe?”.
