Wampum
Wampum is slang for a bit of the green stuff, aka money.
The word Wampum comes from the First Nations tribes of the Eastern Woodlands where Wampum are traditional sacred shell beads which were used as money.
Example usage:
“No wampum, no sugar plum!”
