Beaver Fever is a slang term describing an acute bout of horniness aka “getting the horn”.
The expression is based on the slang term “beaver” for vagina. The fever bit describes the manic element to this serious condition.
Beaver Fever is therefore best understood as a severe case of “getting the horn” or “doing the unicorn”.
